Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026

This site (jaredhebb.com) is run by Jared Hebb. This page explains what data gets collected when you visit, why, and what you can do about it.

Analytics

If you accept the cookie banner, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to see which pages get visited and how people find the site. This only starts after you click Accept. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookies get set. You can change your choice any time by clearing this site's local storage in your browser and reloading the page.

Google's own privacy practices for this data are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Email signup

The free tool pages on this site have an optional email signup. If you enter your email, it gets sent to MailerLite, the email service this site uses to send updates, and added to a list for people who signed up through the free tools. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in that email. Signing up is never required to use any tool on this site.

The Lucas invite page

One page on this site (a private birthday invite, not linked from the site's main navigation or search results) collects a name and RSVP details (number of adults, number of kids, dietary notes, and an optional note) from a small list of invited households, stored in Airtable. That information is used only to plan the event and is not shared, sold, or added to any mailing list.

Course feedback

The feedback page collects a rating, an optional comment, an optional name, an optional email address, and whether you agree to be quoted. It is stored in Airtable. The email address is used only to reply to you if you asked for a reply; it is never shown on any page and never added to the mailing list. If you tick the box agreeing to be quoted, your comment may be published on the course site, with the name you gave and anonymously if you did not give one. If you leave that box unticked, nothing you wrote is published anywhere. To have a published quote taken down, or your feedback deleted, contact jared@jaredhebb.com.

Booking a Role Build call

The Role Build page books its free fit call through Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name and email address, and your answers to six short questions: the seat or role you would hand off, roughly how many people work at your business, what that seat costs you today, what systems it works in, whether it handles payment details, health information or anything else sensitive (yes, no, or not sure), and when you would want it running. If you choose a phone call over video, Calendly also collects the number to reach you on. Calendly records the time slot you picked.

That information is used to run the call and to decide whether the work is a fit. It is not added to any mailing list, is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else. Calendly stores it under its own privacy practices, described in the Calendly privacy notice. If you would rather it were deleted after the call, say so on the call or by email and it gets deleted.

Client data during a Role Build engagement

If you hire me, the work happens inside your own accounts on your own software, so most of your business data never moves anywhere new. Where a copy has to sit outside your accounts to make a workflow run, the agreement you sign names the tool it sits in and why. Those copies get deleted within thirty days of the work ending, or handed back sooner if you ask.

During a Role Build diagnostic I look at settings only, through a read-only account, and never at your records. After that, access to your accounts is scoped: an invited seat, a limited API key, or an OAuth connection through the tool's own permission screen. You are never asked for an account password as the normal way of working, nothing is kept in plain text, and access is revoked the day the work ends. If a build ever needs something wider than that, including a full account handoff, you hear it plainly before it happens and it is yours to refuse.

AI tools, including Anthropic's Claude, are used to build this work and in some cases inside what gets built. Where an automation itself sends your data to an AI service, the agreement names the service and what gets sent. Nothing about your business is used to train any model, your customers are never mailed, and none of it is sold.

If access or a copy of your data held on your behalf is ever exposed to somebody who should not have it, you are told within seventy-two hours of me finding out, whether or not it looks like it did any harm.

The full data and confidentiality terms are in the signed agreement, and the plain summary is in the Role Build section of the terms.

Outreach

Role Build is sold partly by writing to businesses directly. Before sending anything, publicly available information about that business gets read and written down: the company name, what it does, an open job posting if there is one, published news, and a business contact address. That comes from public sources, it is about the business rather than a private individual, and it is stored privately in Airtable and used only to write one relevant email. Reply and say stop, or ignore it, and the record is deleted. Nothing collected that way is sold, and nobody is added to the newsletter without signing up for it themselves.

What this site does not do

There are no user accounts. There is no advertising on this site and no ad-network cookies. Nothing you enter into a free tool's calculator or generator gets sent to a server or stored; it is processed in your browser only.

Your choices

You can decline analytics cookies with the banner on your first visit, or by clearing this site's local storage later. You can skip the email signup entirely. If you want your email address removed from the mailing list before using the unsubscribe link, or want to ask what data this site holds about you, contact jared@jaredhebb.com.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects changes, this page gets updated first, before the change ships.
